Is Prime Reaching Bankruptcy?

The supplier of Prime energy drinks, Refresco, is suing the company for $67.7 million, alleging a breach of contract after Prime failed to meet its order commitments.

Refresco, the bottling giant, claims Prime did not order the agreed minimum of 18.5 million cases annually, despite significant investments made by Refresco for a custom production line.

Additionally, Prime is facing several lawsuits, including one from the US Olympic Committee for trademark infringement and another class-action suit over mislabeling caffeine content.

Prime has also faced scrutiny over alleged PFAS levels in its bottles, with Logan Paul denying the claims and defending the company's practices.

All lawsuits aside, the hype around Prime has come to a crawl resulting in tanking sales, presumably making the brand defunct and not worth the $1.2 billion they preached about around November of 2023.

The Verdict on MrBeast

Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, faced significant scrutiny recently due to several controversies.

Allegations include knowing about inappropriate messages by his former collaborator Ava Kris Tyson, unsafe working conditions on his new Amazon Prime Video show, and past racist and homophobic comments.

Despite this, Donaldson's popularity remains unaffected, gaining 3 million subscribers since the incidents, and his Amazon series continues production.

Major sponsors and platforms have not publicly responded to the backlash, reflecting the difficulty of holding top creators accountable.

Could there be a drop in subscribers on MrBeast’s YouTube channel or is he just too popular?

Tony Matheson from Slalom Wealth Management advises that refinancing may not benefit those nearing the end of their mortgage term.
